SPARK - S.P.A.R.K. stands for St. Paul's Amazing and Ready Kids and is comprised of any youth in Kindergarten - 5th grade. SPARK is a youth group for the younger youth of the congregation. This group gathers monthly and varies its activities between educational, service and learning opportunities. Parents are also strongly encouraged to participate in SPARK events.
Youth Group - St. Paul's youth group is for anyone in grades 6-12. On a monthly basis the youth of the congregation gather for at least one social, service or learning activity. Sometimes the youth make a simple dinner together and hang out for the evening. Other times we will go bowling or skating together. We have also made cookies for homebound members and gone Christmas caroling as well. There are also several opportunities to attend New Jersey synod youth events throughout the year. The youth group is a place where youth can connect with one another and other adults in the congregation in a safe, laid-back, faith-based environment.
Confirmation Class is a time of learning and faith formation for St. Paul's youth in the 7th and 8th grades. The class explores the core of the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective and is geared to engage faith and daily life for teens.
